She said the steakhouse served wine, but there was no lounge.
We asked one of the attendants where the lounge was and she gave us a funny look. After we'd been at the casino for a few hours, we noticed that there were beverage bars serving soft drinks in several places, but we decided we wanted a beer. The poker rooms are full all the time and have waiting lists for a seat to play. Things that surprised us (in a bad way) were that there is an 'ante' for blackjack of 50 cents per hand (unless you're betting $50 or more - then the ante is $1.00 per hand). I'm sure this part will get better with time. Hey, the place is new and the staff is real friendly and anxious to please. Checking in was a little bit of a problem as their computer showed we had used our free night the week before - my husband, good-naturedly, asked if we'd had a good time - and it took about 30 minutes to get everything straightened out. Our room was large and comfortable, as well as tastefully decorated. I have to say that the hotel is really well done. My husband and I went to Choctaw on March 26, 2010, because we'd been given a free room, free dinner, and $20 to play in the slot machines (thank you, Dallas Mavericks!).
